BARRIER COATINGS
NanoSeal™ - Bairicade XT™ Barrier Coating (BXT-50)
BXT-50 is a water based coating comprised of a masterbatch and a
liquid dispersion of clay platelets. The coating is applied to
traditional packaging films such as POLYESTER, POLYPROPYLENE, NYLON
and PLA to create exceptional gas barriers to oxygen and several
other gases. The coating is applied with either rotogravure or
flexographic systems. Bairicade XT™ coating is approved for indirect
food contact for use primarily with dry and moderately dry food
applications.

NanoSeal™ - Barrier Coating (NSC-60PL)
NSC-60PL is a water based coating comprised of a masterbatch and a liquid dispersion of clay platelets. This formulation is an update and replaces NSC-100A coating. The coating is applied to traditional packaging films such as POLYESTER, POLYPROPYLENE, NYLON and PLA to create exceptional gas barriers to oxygen and several other gases. The coating is applied with either rotogravure or flexographic systems. NanoSeal™ NSC-60PL is approved for indirect food contact for use primarily with dry and moderately dry food applications.

NanoSeal™ PLA BARRIER COATED FILM
(NS3-PLA80)
NanoSeal™ PLA is a clear polylactide film with one side having a
gas barrier coating of NanoSeal™. The film can be industrially
composted, and the material will breakdown and revert to carbon
dioxide and water in less than 90 days. The coated side can be
printed and laminated. NanoSeal™ coated films have been approved for
indirect food contact.
